Marisela Gonzalez (above right), one of our wine instructors,
says her main goal as a wine enthusiast and educator is "to help demystify wine." Many people think wine is an intimidating subject, she says, but it doesn't have to be. Marisela has worked in the wine business in New York City for four years and has gained a wide range of knowledge and insight about wine through tasting it, of course, as well as by working with some of the most knowledgeable and passionate people in the business. She also likes to highlight wine's purpose: to enliven our meals. There's a wine for every course you can imagine--and some that you can't!

Marisela holds a Foundation Certificate from the Court of Master Sommeliers and continues to learn about wine through study and tasting. She is also an actor and a yoga teacher.

There are open enrollment cooking classes now being offered at CAMAJE , our Sister restaurant in the West Village.
